1. Education

Education is central to Bena Charity Trust’s work. Through faith-based learning centers, early childhood and primary education support, scholarships, and teacher training, the Trust provides inclusive educational opportunities that help children from disadvantaged backgrounds grow into responsible and confident individuals.

2. Spiritual and Cultural Development

We promote faith-based values, ethical guidance, and community empowerment through inclusive cultural development programs, youth engagement initiatives, and educational events. These activities include regular values-based lectures, study circles, capacity-building workshops for community facilitators, heritage and cultural awareness programs, and constructive community dialogue forums.

Through these initiatives, we aim to preserve spiritual and cultural identity in a positive and respectful manner, strengthen moral and ethical values, encourage social responsibility, and inspire positive behaviour among children, youth, and adults across diverse communities.

3. Relief Aid and Social Welfare

Bena Charity Trust responds to the urgent needs of vulnerable families through relief aid programs such as food distribution, hygiene kits, blankets, clothing, and emergency assistance during disasters. We also provide ongoing support to widows, orphans, the elderly, and families facing severe hardship. Our approach combines both short-term emergency relief and long-term welfare support to build resilience and dignity within communities.

4. Water and Sanitation Projects

Recognizing the critical need for clean and safe water, the Trust invests heavily in borehole drilling, pump installation, and rehabilitation of non-functional water points. Each borehole brings safe drinking water closer to homes, reducing disease and freeing women and children from long daily walks. We also promote community ownership by training local committees to manage and maintain water facilities for long-term sustainability.

5. Housing, Places of Worship, and Community Infrastructure

We support vulnerable families through dignified housing, develop places of worship, and establish community centers that promote skills development, youth engagement, and social cohesion.

6. Social Empowerment and Livelihoods

Bena Charity Trust promotes self-reliance through vocational training, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and income-generating initiatives for youth and women, alongside life-skills and awareness programmes that foster healthy, informed, and responsible communities.
