Bena Charity Trust supports communities in Malawi through education, humanitarian assistance and practical community projects. Our work includes Islamic and secular education, support for those in need, clean water initiatives and other community-based programmes. The Trust operates from its head office in Blantyre, with branches in Zomba and Dedza, under the guidance of its board of trustees.

Our story
Education at the centre of our work
Bena Charity Trust was established in Malawi to serve communities through education and humanitarian assistance. Its work includes schools and learning centres, Qur’anic education, educational support, food distribution, borehole projects and other practical community activities.
To empower individuals and communities through education, skill development, and moral guidance — helping them build self-reliance, confidence, and a sense of purpose rooted in Islamic values.
