BACKGROUND

Bena Charity Trust is a registered non-governmental organization dedicated to uplifting communities across Malawi through education, empowerment, and compassion. Established in December 2014 and officially recognized n December ,2015 by the Government of Malawi under registration number TRNR-BQVTKKB, the Trust stands as a beacon of hope and service inspired by moral and ethical values.

With a team of seven experienced trustees and branches in Blantyre (Head Office), Zomba, and Dedza, Bena Charity Trust is committed to promoting sustainable community development through education, moral guidance, and social welfare.

The Trust operates 72 Qur’anic schools, staffed by over 74 teachers and 5 supervisors, serving more than 4,380 students across the country. Through collaboration with local and international partners, government institutions, and other organizations, Bena Charity Trust continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Malawians.
